Any registered voter can apply to vote by mail for the November general election. No reason is required, but a mail-ballot application must be submitted.
Mail ballots are processed to be mailed to voters starting 20 days prior to election day.
The mail-ballot application can be found here. It can be returned to the Johnson County Election Office by email, text, or mail. Find directions on how to return the application here.
Applications for mail ballots for a November general election must be received by the Tuesday before election day (October 27th).
