Every year, we see problems at the polls: Voters turned away at closing time after standing in line for hours. Voters denied their right to cast a ballot. Voters challenged because of where they live or what they look like.

Thanks to the work of voter protection volunteers across the country, we're constantly pushing back. Check back here in 2012 for help in making sure your voice gets heard and your vote cast.
